Project #14: Kalamkari Vector Sketch

I am a big fan of Kalamkari prints. The idea that a single color or an extremely limited palette, can create a stunning image is absolutely fascinating. In this project, I decided to use two colors to make this illustration of Saraswathy, the Goddess of creativity. I used Powerpoint (I know it is not the best medium), and I am self-teaching Adobe Illustrator (without much progress). 

I am toying with the idea of creating a children's story book with this style of design. I would be greatly interested in a collaborative project.
